Win Free CDs and Support The Bands Too!

For the visitors: Want to win free CDs?. All you need to do is check out the bands which are being promoted on this site. Each post will feature a band which has released a demo/promo/album recently. If you like their music, you have to post a comment giving your email address where you can be contacted. At the end of each month, 1 CD will be chosen on the basis of maximum number of comments and 1 lucky winner will be chosen from those who posted their comments for that CD.

For the bands: If you have released a demo/promo/album (of any subgenre in metal) and if you accept orders through Paypal, then you are eligible to be posted here on the blog. Please mail us at metalpromotionblog@gmail.com if you want to be featured here.

About us: MetalPromotion has been started to encourage people to check out new bands and buy more CDs. Many people still do buy CDs but also many people have become so used to downloading that they do not know or have forgotten the joys of owning original discs. September contest now closed!

The September contest is now closed, and here are the final scores (of number of comments for the 4 different bands):

So how are we going to choose the lucky person who gets the CD?

First, we will assign each of the people a random number from 1 to 18 (by using a random number generator program) This number will become the serial number for each person. Then use the same program to pick a random number (from 1 to 18) 10 times. The person who's serial number gets selected the maximum number of the times is the winner.

Too confusing? Dont worry, just wait for a few hours till tomorrow morning. The results will be out by then. Good luck!

September lucky draw closes on 29th Sep

I am adding 20$ to the MetalPromotion funds from my own account as we have not been able to generate much through ads. 1 band will be chosen on 29th September on the basis of maximum number of comments posted. Then, a lucky draw will be held to determine the winner of the CD from those who have entered the comments. 6 days left....if you havent posted for your wanted CD yet, post now!
